ACCESS CONTROL

Access control provides a user the capability of giving selective restrictions on access of certain places to individuals in both a private and a commercial environment. Access control is generally characterised by locks and login credentials, which are two widely used analogous mechanisms for granting and restricting access. While the most common methods employ numerical codes, coded cards or fobs, there are more advanced systems that can also generate a log of activities to record the individuals who accessed the said area including the time and the frequency of access.

There are currently several products for access control on the market. One such product is a revolutionary key designed by Comelit, which integrates a complete security system that provides the user peace of mind when they are at home or away. This key provides complete freedom of keeping everything under control round the clock and from whichever location. With the Comelit Key, users have the option of granting access to their homes only to a limited pool of people, in specific areas and at specific times. It also has the option of recording all entrance dates and times so that you can keep track of the movement of people in your home. In addition, there is an excellent security feature that allows you to deactivate a lost key and delete all of its functions.

Comelit also provides access control products for commercial outlets such as apartment blocks and office spaces. This includes the 1456B, which is a multi-user Gateway that uses the innovative Comelit ViP digital system, where users can answer calls from an external unit through a ViP door entry monitor, from mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) through the Comelit ViP app, or from GSM phone and landline.

JIT Ltd also supplies proximity and radio transmitted access products by leading brands such as Allmatic, which has been a leading provider of home automation products in Italy for over 25 years. Clients using Allmatic products are guaranteed experience, research and customer consideration. Most of the products supplied by Allmatic can be integrated with each other through its custom built system. The products are divided into access control units, accessories and also standalone products.

M2E is a control unit for access control that is capable of having 2000 users, two inputs for proximity readers, two output relays and also provides display management. The M2E can be easily paired up with accessories that are also provided by Allmatic including Tag TP, TP1 and FOR4 Proximity. TP1 is a standard proximity read that can be paired by access units such as M2E, while the Tag TP is a simple proximity access tag that can be hooked along your other keys. FOR4 Proximity is a rolling code transmitter that also functions as a security tag. As an example, for the Tag TP and FOR4 Proximity can be used in conjunction with TP1 when this is connected to an access unit such as M2E.

Allmatic also supplies standalone products, including the AM1 Pad which is an access control keypad and also as two output relays, and EM1 that is a mini-tag proximity reader that has one output relay and does not need to be connected to any access control units.
